Today is the start of the winter learning journey. The first activity is to find three facts about New Zealand from a website Link to the website.
1. Most of New Zealanders live in the North Island.
2. Did you know visitors come to New Zealand because there are so many outdoor activities.
3. Rugby is the most popular sport in New Zealand.

 

Winter Solstice

Brooklyn, Freeman, Zane and I worked on a DLO showing winter solstice and it has been very hard to check there site and all of them have same thing on them and this tell you about winter and summer solstice.

Today Tiava and I worked on how to deal with haters and trolls. This DLO shows you what to do when someone is hating on you or trolling you.

ST. Lucia's Day

For our Matiriki tasks we had to choose what another country celebrates when it is the winter solstice. While we were reaserching we found about St Lucia's Day. We found out that St. Lucia's Day is a festival of lights.

Legend of the Seven Sisters

Today I started an inquiry and It was for Matariki. My is Brooklyn, Zane and Freeman and I watched a video about Matariki and the Six Sisters. We made a DLO about the seven sisters. We referenced the websites we got the information and photo from.   

Email Etiquette

Today for cyber smart we had to make a DLO on how to make a proper email. I worked with Mataio and Tiava to create the email etiquette. When making an email you always have to have the right grammar and get straight to the point. 

Dance

Today for dance Mrs Anderson record Affonso and I. I was very nervous but I got the hang of it, Once we finished we had to watch our video and see what we have to improve, Affonso and I have to improve our shapes and make it straight.
